Tried the 1.7x converter on the D7100 and 500mm lens today, I suppose considering the distance the lack of light, its not bad but not brilliant.

notmanywords: A very keen amateur photographer. Photographically my interest is predominately wildlife in all its many guises although I will take pictures of anything that catches my eye. The majority of my photography takes place in County Durham where I live but I do travel further afield occasionally.
