Two no shows

I went looking for Dippers recently unfortunately I didn’t find any however I did find somethings. I then had a walk looking for Barn Owl once again I didn’t find any however once again, I did find somethings.

As I drove to the spot where I hoped to see the Dipper a Buzzard was sitting on a telegraph pole. When I stopped the car to try and get a shot the inevitable happened, it flew off. It did however, along with another one, circle around the fields and I managed to fire off a few shots.

You know the feeling you get when you think you’re being watched that’s the feeling I got when I walked through the wood to the burn. A couple of Roe Deer were watching me through the trees.

Grey Wagtail on the burn.

Wren.

While waiting for the Barn Owls these Buzzards kept me entertained.

Red Kite S2 with something in its talons.
