Far Pastures
A bit closer to home today and a couple of hours at Far Pastures. The Kingfisher was showing well but there was no sign of the Goldeneye that was seen earlier in the week. There were quite a few Snipe on the island just outside the hide and Moorhen were doing what Moorhen do.

Ron, you mention a Goldeneye seen earlier in the week, do you know anyone who photographed it as apparently its down as a Barrows Goldeneye on Thornley recent sightings board :-O
