I said I would have…

…to get out and take some pictures, well I did. The next set of images are from work and Burdon Moor. The wife and I had a walk along Burdon Moor yesterday looking for Shield Bugs and she really did get the “bug”. She spotted quite a few and happily pointed them out so I could get some pictures.

Green Shield Bugs. This was in the morning at work.

At work this Fungi is growing on a load of coal and gravel.

  1. Hi Ron, nice to see you've got the Shieldbug bug, I find them an interesting group of insects to seek out at this time of year. The one you queried is a dark form final Instar Green shield bug, more usual to see the pale green ones you also photographed. Quite jealous as I haven't managed to get one of those yet. Great set of photos as well, much sharper than what I can get. Cheers.
