01.12.23 Once again a visit to Burdon Moor, on a snowy afternoon, in the hope of getting some images of Fieldfare and Redwing and this time I wasn’t disappointed. I even managed flight shots with some being more successful than others.
This bird in particular was quite happy to pose and
eat berries while I took its picture.
It picked a berry
Then dropped it.
When you look closely the pattern and colours on the
wing are beautiful.

day.
You can see why it’s called a Redwing.
I haven’ got many Blackbird in flight shots.
Only one Stonechat seen but it was nice to get it with
some snow.
