My wife and I had a short local walk recently up what we called, years ago, the Whinies. I was pleased to see a good number of different Shieldbugs and loads of Spiders.
Hawthorn Shieldbug.
Gorse Shieldbug.
Common Green Shieldbug.
Hairy Shieldbug.
Hairy Shieldbug with a Harlequin Ladybird Larva.
Harlequin Ladybird.
Another Harlequin Ladybird.
Weevil.
There were loads of Spiders around.
Some were already having lunch
While some were wrapping their lunch up.
Daddy Longlegs.
Grasshopper.
