You will be pleased…

…to see that this is the last Blog from Thornley Woods and Far Pastures for a while as I have been out and about again to other places.

This Roe Buck was at Thornley Woods.

Robin in the early morning light.

You have probably heard of the Laughing Cavalier well here is the Laughing Mallard.

Magpie. Pity about the twig in front of its head.

From this log it would jump up to the bird feeders to get some seed.

This Roe Buck at Far Pastures was chasing another one around a field when I arrived. The one that was getting chased jumped over a fence onto the road right in front of the car. This one just looked at me breathing hard after the exertion.

Then looked around to see where the other one had gone.

Snipe.

The male Gadwall has its partner back although he looks to be more interested if feeding.

Male Blackcap.
