A Touch Of Blue & Grey

The Kingfisher was once again at Far Pastures and it was both a pleasure and a good laugh to see the reaction of a group of walkers who, when they came into the hide, saw the Kingfisher some of them for the first time. On the way home, I spotted what I at first thought were a couple of Red Legged Partridge, hunkered down in a field. However when I got out of the car to take a closer look I discovered they were a pair of Grey Partridge, a nice find so close to home.
