2nd and 3rd of March

Here are quite a few shots from the last couple of days at Derwent Reservoir. Still did not get the shots I was hoping for of the Crossbill.

Red Squirrel. Out of all the red shots I have so far this, for some reason, is one of my favourites

Female Pheasant (pity I missed the end of its tail off but I quite like this)

Friendly things

These Coal Tit & Red Squirrel at the reservoir yesterday were certainly very friendly. At Burdon Moor a Kestrel was anything but to a mouse, it was having it for its lunch.

Cracking Red Squirrel

Kestrel with bait. Just a pity it wasn't on top of the fence post and a bit closer but hey.

Migrant Hawkers about to mate but they were always hidden behind reeds so I could not get any decent shots
