Little Owl & Kestrel
Tuesday saw me at South Shields in the hope of seeing Short-eared Owl. In the event the wind was too strong and it was keeping the Owls hunkered down (if indeed they were still there). I was still happy though as four Little Owl put on a great show posing well. A juvenile Kestrel was hunting and again posed for pictures.

Really lovely shots here, especially of the Little Owl.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots saw the little owl last year but think it's gone now, but managed to get some good shots this year of Kestrel.
