A few shots taken at work over the last two of days including my first Dragonfly of the year, which I think, is a newly emerged Four-spotted Chaser (thanks Alan).
Far too early for Southern Hawkers Ron, looks like an excellent shot of a Four-spotted Chaser to me :-) I'll borrow that if you don't mind (again) Any chance you could take a photo of the actual pond Ron? I'd like a look at it. Cheers
Thanks Alan I wasn’t sure what it was and as I haven’t seen Four-spotted Chasers on the pond before I thought it was a S Hawker as I had loads of them last year. I even looked in Britain’s Dragonflies by Dave Smallshire & Andy Swash but I still could not identify it. Oh and I will take a picture of the pond when I’m back at work on Saturday.
No probs Ron, it's deffo a four-spot, another Durham first for you :-) If you want to query any dragon pics before posting them just email them to me a.mould@tiscali.co.uk and I'll see if I can help you out. Cheers
