Hi Ron, nice to see you've got the Shieldbug bug, I find them an interesting group of insects to seek out at this time of year. The one you queried is a dark form final Instar Green shield bug, more usual to see the pale green ones you also photographed. Quite jealous as I haven't managed to get one of those yet. Great set of photos as well, much sharper than what I can get. Cheers.
