A walk around Kibblesworth brick works a while ago (July, where has the time gone).
Just before we left for Kibblesworth this Sparrowhawk
visited the garden (taken through double glazing).

A Red-eyed Damselfly came close to her.
Black-tailed Skimmer.

Mating Blue-tailed Damselfly.
Small Copper Butterfly.
Alder Moth Caterpillar.
Volucella pellucens Hoverfly hovering.

A mature female. There were a few Common Darters around.
Our annual visit to Slipper Tarn at Cragside was once again fruitful if you like Dragonflies with loads of Black and Common Darter hawking around the tarn. As you can see by the title of the Blog, I have split it into two again (I seem to be doing it a lot lately) because once again I have too many images.
