Right place right time…

…at Burdon Moor the other day when two Ring Ouzel landed briefly in a distant elderberry bush and a Stonechat landed in a hawthorn bush right next to me.

Stonechat. A couple of Stonechat were feeding on the path a little way in front of me so I fired off a few shots as they flew from the path to a hawthorn bush.

One of them came closer.

Then it came closer still until it was right in front of me.

A Kestrel was out hunting.
