Pow Hill

 An early morning local walk before I went to Pow Hill turned up a couple of Roe Deer in the “back field” which are always nice to see. Unfortunately, no Red’s or Crossbill while I at Pow Hill but it’s still nice to be out.

Burdon Moor part two

 The second part of our walk around Burdon Moor and some of the other wildlife we saw (let’s see if I have the instars right).

Once again two Lizards were in their usual place this is one of them 


And this is the second.


Birch Shieldbug.

A second.

Bronze Shieldbug.

A mature female. There were a few Common Darters around.

Burdon Moor part one

 Yet another walk around Burdon Moor it seems to me like this is becoming my go to place for all sorts of wildlife. On this walk, at the end of last month, I took so many images I have split the Blog into two.

A couple of Lizards were in their usual spot.



This one is shedding its skin.
