More from Lettoch Beag

Here are a few more pictures from our week up in Scotland. All except the landscape were taken from outside Lettoch Beag cottage.

A visit to Killiecrankie for a walk thought I would try my hand at a bit of landscape photography. Note to self must try harder.

Meanwhile at Muggleswick (before part two)

I had a drive around the Muggleswick area yesterday. Pied Flycatcher put on a good show but Redstart were always distant for me. Lifer in the form of Wood Warbler was great. Here are a few shots. Oh and while I was in the garden yesterday afternoon a group of six Ring-necked Parakeets flew over heading South.

Pied Flycatcher

After she had seen him off she sat with a look as if to say what was all that about?

Not a good picture but I like the way the male & female Redstart are seeing off a Blue Tit.

Garden Bird

Found this somewhat dishevelled Red-legged Partridge in the garden this morning.
