A visit to Long Nanny in Northumberland a few weeks ago to see an American Black Tern (a lifer for me). It put on a good show along with a canny supporting cast.

Depending on where we are while on holiday in Scotland we try and visit Loch of the Lowes at least once. The majority of the images in this and the next Blog are from there. This part is mainly the Sand Martins and Swallows that were picking flies off the water. We also visit a small Loch to see if there are any divers unfortunately this year, we did not see any.
Blackcap in the garden of the cottage we were staying
in.

Buzzard also from the small Loch.

Swallows also catching flies at Loch of the Lowes.
Great Crested Grebe also catching flies.
