Slightly larger wildlife

A few more images from our Scottish holiday (and more to come)

A pair of Whinchat were raising young in the field next to our cottage.

While I was outside they didn’t come anywhere near me

However, if I was in the cottage the sat on the fence posts just outside the window. I got some rubbish shots through the double glazing

Blackbird with lunch

Common Sandpiper

Meadow Pipit (through the double glazing)

A regular visitor but always distant except on this occasion when it looked as though it was checking me out

Swift were also regular visitors so I tried some flight shots

Heron are much easier to photograph

This Pied Wagtail was a right poser
