With all the controversy…

 …surrounding this, I debated whether or not to do this Blog because on the one hand it could be classed as guilt by association, the Blog after all is about a LEO from a certain site however on the other hand, one, I was nowhere near the nest (I didn’t even know where it was) two, I did not disturb the owl while it was hunting I stood in the same spot and did not chase it around (at one point the owl flew straight at me) three, and this was the clincher for me, we ALL have images of LEO’s out hunting and we may not have been aware of what’s going on while we were taking those images. I know ignorance is supposed to be no defence and I will be criticised by some, but anyway here are the images.

 My wife and I were staying in Grassington in Yorkshire for a couple of days in July. On our second day there we stopped off in the village of Arncliffe for a drink in the Falcon. It was while we were sitting on the village green outside the pup waiting for it to open that we were treated to the fantastic site and sound of more than a dozen Swifts screaming overhead and I managed to get a few acceptably sharp images that I was pleased with.
