My wife and I had a walk up to the whinny bushes a few days ago in the hope of seeing some Shieldbugs, we weren’t disappointed. We saw a few singles then on one bush there must have been about a dozen some of them trying to mate.
Gorse Shieldbug.
Two’s company.
Three’s a crowd.
Bee gathering pollen.
Distant Linnet.
Leaf Hopper.
Bee drinking nectar.
My first Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly of the year.
These Mining Bees were in the garden when we got back
from our walk.
