…last month (as you can probably tell I’m still way behind) there were a couple of Whinchat at Burdon Moor and of course I had to go and have a look. They were always distant but it’s great to see them back.

Close encounter with a Willow Warbler.
There was another Willow Warbler in the bush opposite
so this one flew to the fence nearby and started to display.
