Burdon Moor with…

…no Owls in sight. Here are (quite) a few images from Burdon Moor from the end of last month.

A cracking Grasshopper Warbler posed very nicely for me.

Whitethroat were everywhere.

Willow Warbler were in nearly every bush (just a slight exaggeration).

Meadow Pipit.

Kestrel on one of the telegraph poles.

At one point it was hovering just above my car.

There were loads of Orange-tip Butterflies

Also loads of Green-veined White Butterflies.

Platycheirus species of Hoverfly.

Cheilosia pagana Hoverfly?
