Up on the moors

14.04.24 It was great to see that the Pied Flycatcher had returned to its regular nesting site up on the moors although I only saw the male the female has also returned. Redpoll and Siskin were coming down to drink from a puddle at a popular site which nearly always has photo opportunities.

Male Pied Flycatcher singing its little heart out.

Nuthatch.

This female Kestrel was hovering not far from the road so I pulled over to get a couple of shots.

A cracking male Redpoll.

And a cracking female Redpoll.

Male Siskin.
