13.04.24 The Little Owl was a bit closer this morning on my short local walk and so were the Roe Bucks it’s only a pity the light wasn’t better.
Little Owl. A little closer but not by much.
One of the two Roe Bucks that are nearly always in the
field.
However, this one didn’t stay long.
The other was being followed by a Pheasant.
It did come quite close to where I was.
Then something spooked it and it was off.
Even with a beak full of worms this Mistle Thrush was
making alarm calls as it was chasing off Jackdaws.
Its partner joined in to try and chase them away from
the nest.
