A couple of weeks ago we had a drive up to Pow Hill in the hope of seeing Crossbill. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any we did however see plenty of other birds hence loads of images in this Blog.

An early morning local walk before I went to Pow Hill turned up a couple of Roe Deer in the “back field” which are always nice to see. Unfortunately, no Red’s or Crossbill while I at Pow Hill but it’s still nice to be out.

14.04.24 It was great to see that the Pied Flycatcher had returned to its regular nesting site up on the moors although I only saw the male the female has also returned. Redpoll and Siskin were coming down to drink from a puddle at a popular site which nearly always has photo opportunities.
