Barn Owl

I have finally caught up on the processing of the images I have taken recently (apart of the ones taken at work over the last few weeks) so here are a few more images of a local Barn Owl.

This Gull was harassing the Barn Owl.

It was even harassed by a Magpie.

My first…

…Grasshopper Warbler of the year late afternoon yesterday. The light had just about gone, the Barn Owl that I had been watching had flown off somewhere else and I was about to go home when I heard a call that was unmistakeable.  I went to the spot where the call had come from and sitting in the brambles was a Grasshopper Warbler.

A distant Barn Owl.

Roe Deer…

…seem to be everywhere at the moment

These were “up the whinnies” as we used to call the fields they were in when we were kids.

Brown Hare “up the whinnies”.

Another day and a different Brown Hare not far from where the other was.

The same Barn Owl on a very distant post.
