Lamesley

A few images from a couple of visits to the hide at Lamesley recently. 

I thought at first these Redshanks were going to mate but it turned out they were having a right old battle.

Bumblebees in the garden

 I spent some tome in the garden a couple of weeks ago photographing Bumblebees. I was trying to get them in flight with varying degrees of success. I have also tried to identify them but probably once again with varying degrees of success so if I have any wrong, please don’t hesitate to correct me.

Short-eared Owls

 Across the border into Northumberland last month for Short-eared Owls. I saw at least five in the same area and I think I managed to get images of three or four of them.
