Harlequin Ladybirds

15.10.23 And a walk around the graveyard in our village produced a few Harlequin Ladybirds on the gravestones. The variety of patterns and colours on these Ladybirds is amazing.

This one seems to have a damaged wing case.

Ladybird with an empty pupa case.

Harlequin Ladybird Larva.

Ladybird Pupa.

Two Ladybird Pupa.

The closest I can get to identifying this is a Lacewing Larva but I’m not sure.

Harvestman.

I have seen a Kestrel on this pole a few times.
