Just back from a week in Norfolk. It will take me ages to go through all of the images on my external hard drive but here are the first few.
Gatekeeper Butterfly from just outside the cottage we
were staying in.
I heard a noise coming from the garden behind me while
I was taking pictures of the Gatekeeper, I turned and saw this Muntjac Deer walking
up the road away from me.

A trip to Kibblesworth Brick Ponds at the end of last month looking for Dragonflies. Black-tailed Skimmer, Emperor and Four-spotted Chaser all put on a good show and there was a canny supporting cast of butterflies, beetles etc.

This Emperor Dragonfly flew back and forth trying to
protect its patch from all threats.
However, this Four-spotted Chaser had a good go at
chasing it off.

After a visit to Bishop Middleham, we then went onto Wingate Quarry. Not many Marbled White out but I did manage to get some images of the two we saw. On the way back home, we stopped off at Chester-le-Street in the hope of seeing White-letter Hairstreak I was lucky enough to see one.
