Scotland part two

Depending on where we are while on holiday in Scotland we try and visit Loch of the Lowes at least once. The majority of the images in this and the next Blog are from there. This part is mainly the Sand Martins and Swallows that were picking flies off the water. We also visit a small Loch to see if there are any divers unfortunately this year, we did not see any.

Blackcap in the garden of the cottage we were staying in.

Meadow Pipit from the small Loch.

Buzzard also from the small Loch.

Up in the Dales

A drive up onto the Durham Dales at the beginning of the month in some sunny if blustery weather. My aim was to find Adders, which I did, and Ring Ouzel which unfortunately I didn’t however it was still a canny day out.
