I just could not resist getting out again to look for Barn Owls. I saw two this time however, more were seen by other people. Here are a few images.
As a footnote to my last Blog, I got chatting
to another photographer while photographing the Barn Owl (someone who I had not
met before) about cameras and I mentioned that I was thinking about getting a
mirrorless camera body. When I mentioned the one that I was thinking about
getting the reply was “you do know it only has 10 frames a second can you cope
with that”. Now unfortunately I am of an age that I can remember film cameras
that had to be wound on manually. Power winds came out and wow it wound the
film on for you so you had to make sure you did not get through a whole roll of
36 film too quickly. How times and technology have changed.
