The day after we went to Bempton Cliffs we went on a nostalgic trip to Scarborough. We walked everywhere remembering old times and reminiscing about our families and what we did when we went on holiday to Scarborough years ago. I took quite a few photos on my phone while we were walking around however the only wildlife related photos I took were of a Cormorant and a Gull.

While we at RSPB Otmoor we saw and heard quite a few Cuckoo, we were talking to someone who saw six together, I on the other hand only managed two. Unfortunately, with the lack of Dragonflies Hobby were in short supply we saw only one. Several different Warblers were seen flitting about but they were mostly heard. Quite a few Little Egrets and a couple of Great White Egrets were seen around the reserve. As I said in my previous Blog a canny day out.

He sat there on a morning and on an afternoon.
This Jay kept coming to the feeders in the garden but
would not land in the tree so this unfortunately is the only half decent image
I got.

15.04.24 The bird I was watching for in the hide a Lamsley was unfortunately a no show while I was there however there were other birds coming and going so I thought I would get some flight shots. As you will be able to see from this Blog, I didn’t know which ones to leave out so there are quite a few of them.
