I’m still way behind with my Blogs; this one is from the beginning of May when I had a walk around Burdon Moor with my wife looking for insects.

This is a Syrphus Sp. of Hoverfly hovering near some Ribwort Plantain.

It landed and shook some of the pollen off.

Burdon Moor part one

Yet another walk around Burdon Moor it seems to me like this is becoming my go to place for all sorts of wildlife. On this walk, at the end of last month, I took so many images I have split the Blog into two.

A couple of Lizards were in their usual spot.

This one is shedding its skin.
