A very worn White-letter Hairstreak

Mating Ringlets

Small Tortoiseshell. I presume this is pre-mating thing as the male kept flicking the female with its antenna. I did manage to get some video of this but the camera work leaves a lot to be desired.

Garden Moths

Over the past few weeks I have had the moth trap out in the garden. I don’t think I have had anything rare or special but it is always a delight to open it and find out what‘s inside. This is just a small selection of the moths that have been in the trap.
