…and with arthritic knees my old Nikkor 500mm f4 lens is too heavy to carry around so I have bitten the bullet and bought the new Nikkor 500mm f5.6 PF lens. These images are from its first outing.
The first picture with the new lens is of a Blackbird on the birdbath taken from the conservatory through double-glazing.

I can‘t resist taking pictures of these cracking little birds.
