A walk around Twizell woods at the beginning of the month didn’t produce the Dragonflies I was hoping for but I did get my first Large Red Damselfly of the year. Here is what else I saw.

get).
Weevil.
Bug.
We used to call these Blackclocks.
Long horned Moth.
Another Long horned Moth.
Water Beetle.
Pond Skater.
Sawfly.
St Mark’s fly.
A mating pair.
White-tailed Bumblebee?
Fly.
Caterpillar of the Drinker Moth perhaps.
Crane-fly.
