Tanfield Marsh Wildlife Reserve

My wife and I had a walk around the reserve a few weeks back and I have never seen as many spiders, they were everywhere. We didn’t see any damselfly or dragonfly which was disappointing but I still took loads of images of other things some of which I’m struggling to identify.

Nurseryweb Spider.

Wolf Spider.

A pair of Nettle Weevil.

Robber Fly.

I think this a Common Dance Fly.

This one is covered in pollen.

Drinker Moth Caterpillar.

Sawfly Caterpillar?

Caddisfly.

Dungfly.

A Micro Moth.

A pair of Micro Moths.

Froghopper.

Non-biting Midge?
