 A few images taken over a couple of days at work this month.

One of at least three Tawny Owl chicks that were sending Jays ballistic. This was one of two I managed to get pictures of but, as I said, I heard at least three altogether and I also saw the adult bird flying off.

A second chick. I was taking pictures of insects so I had a 105mm macro lens on the camera when I got these images of the Owls so wrong lens and all the wrong settings on the camera.

One of three Puss Moth Caterpillars. In this image it has what look like red streamers at the rear.

In this image they have gone.

Burdon Moor

 Another walk around Burdon Moor at the end of last month. Once again, I could not resist trying to get the Stonechat catching flies again (sorry if you find it boring) it’s amazing to see his acrobatics.

Buzzards were circling over the fields.

And the male Stonechat was still catching flies.

This time he missed.

Burdon Moor part two

 I spent ages watching this male Stonechat take off from the top of bushes to try and catch flies and I took so many images that I thought I would just do part two of the Blog on him.
