On the edge of the moors

Had a drive up to the edge of the Durham moors the other day and a had a canny day out.

In no particular order…

…shots from Burdon Moor, Muggelswick and work taken over the last couple of days. One thing I did notice at all three sites was the number of Warblers that were singing there little hearts out or collecting nesting material. I know it is a cop out but I will leave you to decide if they are Chiffchaff or Willow Warblers.

Work, Wheatear & Whinchat

A few shots taken at work and Burdon Moor over the last couple of days. The first seven were taken on the 20th the last seven were taken yesterday the 21st.

A morning out

Out yesterday morning before work for Little Owl. A pair were out but very distant, a Wren was a bit closer. At work, the Green Woodpecker showed very briefly.
