A visit to Twizell Woods, in the middle of last month, to see what Dragonflies were about, the answer was not many but there is always something to photograph.
A male Broad-bodied Chaser with only three wings.
It was still able to fly about.
A female Broad-bodied Chaser ovipositing.
Azure Damselfly.
A pair of Azure Damselfly.
A pair of Large Red Damselfly.
I think this is a species of Cuckoo Bumblebee in
flight.

Eristalis Sp. Hoverfly in flight.
Male Orange-tip Butterfly.
Just before I left for Twizell Woods Red Kite S2 was
flying over the garden.
