Burdon Moor

Roe Deer at Burdon Moor. I saw five in total, a pair in the field on the right as you walk from the carpark and a mother with two fawns near the top of the loop.

Female Roe Deer.

Roe Buck.

You can just make out one of the fawns with this other female.

I was standing well away from her on the other side of the loop behind a bush using an 800mm lens but as you can see, she knew I was there so she left her youngsters in the long grass and jumped the fence. She would have come back to them later.

Grasshopper Warbler.

Goldfinch.
