A recent visit to Causey Wood produced some canny birds. At least six Blackcap were present and I usually see a few Wrens but not as many as this visit, they seemed to be everywhere.
One of at least six Blackcap
This one was gathering nesting material.
One of the Wrens that were singing for all they were
worth.
This one has a damaged eye
But it did not stop it from singing its heart out.
There were too many to count.
This was the first view of a Dipper I had on this
visit.
Second view it was partially hidden by leaves.
Slightly better view.
Treecreeper.
Nuthatch.
A Robin with a beak full of insects.
