Scotland part two

 Part two of our trip to Argaty Red Kites and it’s thanks to the owner of the farm Mrs Lynn Bowser whose kindness allowed me to get the images in this and the previous Blog and I will be forever grateful.

Some of the Kites had wing tags

However, I didn’t know some Buzzards have wing tags too. I will have to find out more.

This one came down to the meat a couple of times.

Ravens were also flying around but I didn’t see any come near to the meat, at least not while the Kites were there.

Scotland part one

 While we were up in Scotland, we had to have a visit to Argaty Red Kites. I took so many images that I have split the Blog into two.

On the way from our cottage to Argaty I spotted this Sparrowhawk sitting on a post being mobbed by Swallows and could not resist getting out of the car to get some images.

As always there were quite a few Red Kites coming to the feeding station and it is a fantastic sight to see.
