Far Pastures

Here are just a few images from a short trip to Far Pastures. Oh and I have set myself an almost impossible challenge, the next time I go to Far Pastures I am going to try to photograph a bird without a leg ring.

After seeing my first Redpoll of the year the other day, there were three at Far Pastures.

Willow Tit

Long-tailed Tit

Blue Tit

Great Tit

Male Reed Bunting

Roe Bucks seemed to be at different stages in development at the moment. This one at Causey Arch still has the velvet on its antlers.

This one at Burdon Moor a day later has lost its velvet.

Catching up.

I am way behind going through all of the pictures I have shot lately. These are from the 22nd at Causey Woods.

Dipper

Normally I get this type of image of a female Grey Wagtail.

However, on this occasion I was lucky enough to get her catching flies.

On the way back home, I found  two Brown Hare in a stubble field.
