My local walk

It’s now well over a week ago since I took these images on one of my local walks. Once again I found quite a few micro moths some of which I have shown here.

Yellow Shell Moth. I was lucky to get it on top of a leaf in this shot…

…because I find they normally hang upside down like this.

Eudonia lacustrata

Tortricidae Sp.

Tortricidae Sp.

 Coleophora albicosta moth

Small Heath butterfly

Grasshopper

Fly

Syrphus Sp. Hoverfly

Helophilus pendulus Hoverfly

Episyrphus balteatus or the Marmalade Hoverfly

Possibly Eristalis Sp. Hoverfly

On the way back home, I came across this young Crow looking as though it was asleep on a fence.
