22.06.22 Looking
for Shieldbugs at Burdon Moor and I didn’t find one in fact there wasn’t a lot
of activity of any description however here is some of it.
Volucella bombylans a bumblebee mimic.
In flight.
Carder Bee.
Bumblebee.
Grey-haired Mining Bee?
Large Skipper butterfly.
Yellowhammer belting out its song.
Skylark hovering with food for its chicks.
